My Adventures in Fatherhood

With a lot less travel this year, we kept busy with new adventures in a new neighborhood. And, we still made it to one baseball game!

In a year filled with uncertainty, some things never change.

The first road trip was so much fun, we decided to take another. This time down the coast to San Luis Obispo. We stayed at the magical Madonna Inn.
I tried to get these two👇🏽to pose like these two☝🏽.
It was a fun and colorful adventure.

On the way home we showed the girls one last magical place, the exact spot where we said “I do”.
After Pepper’s first Easter, We took a road trip.
Then a train trip to the Grand Canyon.
Beat the Arizona heat.
Visited Grandpa Pete. He took us to the county fair.
Olive won a pig race.
It was a long drive, and a fun one.
Olive is so excited to have a little sis. She is ready to teach Pepper everything she knows.
Starting with the three things she knows best: radio co-hosting, Giants games, and taking Theo for walks.

We were ready, all we had to do was wait.

And then, just like Olive, one week early, just after we had gone to bed, we were off to the hospital because Pepper was ready to join us.

Olive’s adventures as an only child are coming to an end. She REALLY tried to pack it all in before Pepper’s arrival. It all started in Chicago

Next up was New Mexico

Her last solo Halloween & first trick or treating

And her favorite place to visit in December, NY

She decorated and celebrated at home before heading up to Tahoe

And spent some quality time with Buffalo

Finally one last solo trip to Vegas and then Pepper will be here.

It’s time to get potty trained, sleep in a new bed, start eating right, and wait to become a big sister.

Olive has been 2 for less than a month and she has been one busy girl. She is still doing her usual things like DJing, cheering on her favorite team, and eating pizza.

New things include an Iggy Pop impression, a Rod Stewart concert, and jerky.

Also showing/following Buffalo around the house.

Olive is 2! We had a Dr. Seuss themed party to celebrate.
Mom made cupcakes and Olive partied until she couldn’t.

Olive went to the dentist. She brushed a lions teeth and went through all of the cabinets.

She wasn’t in the mood for shoes.
We got Olive a passport and popped down to Cabo for a while. It was brutally hot, but we found ways to cool off.
Olive’s first piña colada. No booze and surprisingly no brain freeze.
She enjoyed the rooftop both day and night.
She really enjoyed the whole place and insists we go back soon.

Adios!
