Oh, Vegas

I did hours of research on bringing a baby to Vegas. According to the travel & baby blogs there isn’t much to do.  Well, we proved them wrong and we barely even left our hotel.

For starters, Mom flew in early so we were on our own getting there. Other travelers and flight attendants are overly nice and helpful when they see a dad and a baby. Olive’s friendliness scored us a better seat and she also met the pilot. Her first of many perks on this trip.

Her first (above) and then second (below) time sitting in a high chair.

We found the world’s only champagne vending machine.

Then took naps.

Grumpy time, tummy time, and more naps.

It was an exhausting and eventful trip. As every trip should be.

FOOD!!!!!

We had the four month doctor visit and she said Olive can start eating real food. If you can’t tell by the exclamations, I was a little excited. We decided to wait until we got back from our trip to Tahoe in case of allergies.

(Our trip to Tahoe)

For her first meal we decided avocados. Her cousins seem to love them so she probably will too.

She wasn’t too crazy about it, but she came around.

Today we moved on to bananas and they were a hit.
