There is an abnormal amount of heat coming from the sun lately. To cool off we bought our little lady a new dress and went to the coldest place we know, Pacifica. She was exhausted by the time we got home and slept for a full 4hrs. Her longest stretch of sleep in her entire life.

Work
Things finally calmed down around here so I decided to pick up a couple of shifts last week.
Everyone asked, “How does it feel to be away from your family for the first time?”
Answer: It stinks. All I could think about was coming home to these adorable creatures.

Farm Girl

Non Verbal Communication

She screams when she is hungry. She grunts when she wants her diaper changed. She makes this face when she wants out of her car seat.

BFFs
In case you don’t know Theo, he is a spoiled 11 year old dog that has a lot of opinions. He has ruled the house his entire life and now all of that changed. Naturally we were worried the meeting of these two wouldn’t go well. If Olive could throw his toys they would probably be best friends, but they seem to be getting along just fine for now.
Our Girl is Pooped!
Her first full day home has been pretty adventurous. First she peed all over me during a complicated diaper change. For some reason it was the funniest thing ever. I couldn’t stop laughing. Second, she went to her first restaurant. Dim Sum. A lucky choice on our part. We learned if dining with baby: must have a lot of background noise and must be able to leave quickly in case of a baby breakdown. Good thing we love dim sum, we will probably be eating it a lot.
